This was an interesting read. It was definitely to short to develop properly, making Hunter seem less the man who's fallen in love at first sight and more a possessive, creepy, older man who plans to get a innocent young girl pregnant so she can never leave him.It was really hard for me to write that, since I did mostly enjoy the story, and I'm a huge ARR fan, but the creepy undertones were definitely there. Still, I'd give it a 3.5.

Definitely what was promised...Finders Keepers is wildly erotic and extremely sexy. With a good dose of humor thrown in, I enjoyed it for the most part. A little too much insta-love...like insanely immediate which was kind of silly to me. But I genuinely liked the characters and that kept me reading. There are few holes but this one is meant to be read quickly and you don't have to think too much, which is always a bonus. And honestly I wanted just a bit more.
A good, easy read and a solid 3 stars.

Aspen and Hunter... Wow.
He found her. He's keeping her. Period. Hunter's not letting a damn thing keep Aspen from him. Not even Aspen. She's his. End of.
There's nothing like a CA Rose offering. Smoking hot insta-love, dirty talk that burns the pages. Over the top alphas that make you melt in a puddle of your own goo. Possessive, bossy and oh so demanding heros that will have their way, and heroines that really like being had.
I loved Hunter! He's sexy and perfect for Aspen. Aspen is young... so young but knows what she wants and she wants Hunter. With that dirty mouth of his, I want him too.

I've enjoyed all of the books from Aurora Rose Reynolds, so I was confident I'd enjoy things published under this C.A. Rose pen name. Finders Keepers was exactly what I wanted in a novella. It was quick and to the point with a limited storyline that leads to the perfect amount of smut. Hunter's possessive nature and dirty mouth and Aspen's innocence made the steam level sky rocket. If you're looking for something you can dive in to without needing background or build up, download this short story. It will take less than an hour of your time and might give off slight cheesy porn vibes, but that's what I've come to expect from novellas. Embrace it and enjoy.
I like this new trend by authors to release short, sexy and hot as Hades novellas between their bigger releases. However when I like them, I want more. Finders Keepers is no exception. I liked the Insta Love angle but found my self wanting to know what else is happening with out MCs.
Aspen meets Hunter after a miserable night with her step mom trying to set her up yet again. Her car breaks down In the middle of nowhere, she gets out to walk and stumbles upon a wolf and the H, Hunter.
Hunter sees Aspen and decides he wants to keep her forever.
There is a classic misunderstanding that lead to Aspen running but don't fret Hunter is not so easiest ditched.
There is a happy ever after and plenty of sexy time to keep you satisfied.
Makes me wish for hot construction worker to find me on the side of the road and fall head over heals for me and never let me go.
So overall, I did generally like this book. However, there were a few things about it that just left me feeling unfulfilled.
I know this is a novella and there is instalove, which I'm fine with. But these seemed even too instalove for my tastes. I think I would have liked it if Hunter and Aspen had some kind of vague past. Not like a relationship, but they knew of each other or something.
There are also a lot of aspects that come up, and I wish they could have been expanded on, even in a small way. For example, what does Hunter do? Why does Aspen have this rocky relationship with her family? I think adding just a couple extra chapters would have made this book better and still kept it at the novella level.
Overall though, I was satisfied and would purchase from this author again.
Short, sweet and dirty books are my favorite for reading right before bed and while I’m waiting in the parking lot to pick up my kids for school. I hadn’t heard of this author before. I found her when one of the authors of Alexa Riley mentioned this book as one of her favorites of 2017! Being that I love all things Alexa Riley, I had to cop this and read is a.s.a.p. So glad that I did because it reminds me of the things that Alexa Riley are well known for (hot alpha males who meet the woman of their dreams and let list and insta love rule)! Aspen and Hunter are so freaking cute together. Hunter found her passed out on his property, took one look at her and decided that he just had to have her. And have her, he did! I liked the characters and even Rage, Hunter’s dog, lol. I will definitely check out more books by this author.
As short as it was sweet and OTT, Finders Keepers was just what I was in the mood for. Insta-love at its best, it tells the story of innocent Aspen who gets stranded in the middle of nowhere at night with no cell phone and an overeager imagination. Deciding that her fate would be much less gruesome if she chances walking in the night than staying in the car, she promptly passes out when her night walk is joined by a ginormous canine.
Hunter, a millionaire mountain man recluse goes to Aspen’s rescue guided by his dog. Hunter is as gigantic as his pet so he has no problem taking her in his arms and carrying her to his home. That one encounter is all he needs to know she is the woman for him.
“Finders keepers, baby. I found you, and now you’re mine.”
I wouldn’t have minded a little more back story to either character, for instance how Hunter became rich and the whole story behind Aspen’s family. Honestly though? It didn’t bug me that much.
Hunter was uber possessive, sexy and all bossy alphaness jumping right into the deep end of obsessive. Aspen was a lovely, artless girl with an inner vixen that falls for Hunter with one look at his beard.
There’s sweet romance and raunchy breeding exactly what I was hoping for, and making Finders Keepers the perfect OTT read.
